Moon Trailer

Nein, es geht nicht um den Nachfolger zu Twilight namens “New Moon”, sondern um den Film von Duncan Jones “Moon” mit Sam Rockwell. Sam Rockwell fand ich ja schon bei “Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis” und “Green Mile” richtig gut und jetzt macht er schauspielerisch nochmal einen großen Schritt nach vorne mit “Moon”.

Nach jahrelanger Minenarbeit auf dem Mond um neue Energieresourcen für die Erde zu gewinnen, geht es es für Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) in zwei Wochen wieder auf die Erde zurück. Doch umso näher der Tag der Abreise kommt, desto seltsamere Erfahrungen macht Sam.

Zum Plot hier eine Zusammenfassung von Atomic Popcorn:

Moon tells the story of an astronaut, Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell), who is sent to the moon for 3 years to harvest a new energy source that is transported back to earth. Bell works for a gigantic corporation aimed at providing humanity with an unlimited supply of lunar energy, which will take the place of non-renewable fossil fuels. While on the moon, Bell is assisted by GERTY, an on-board computer/robot that makes sure Sam is taken care of and that the mining job is being done correctly and without incident. A freak accident occurs involving one of the energy harvesters and Sam Bell realizes that the corporation he is working for is cutting some pretty severe corners to save money.

Der Trailer hat mich auf jeden Fall sehr beeindruckt und nun steht der Film ganz oben auf der meiner To-Do-Liste neben “(500) Days of Summer”.
